Meet the Trainer - Jessica Laufeyson

Jessica Laufeyson discovered her love and passion for horses before she could even walk, and she has been fully immersed in the horse world ever since. Her family first came to the US from Sweden, and it is the Swedish qualities of calm, quiet, and patient that make Jessica such a successful trainer. Early on, Jessica was educated in classical dressage training with USDF Gold Medalist and President of the East Coast Regional Dressage Federation, Ellen Sullivan Phillips. It was through her guidance that Jessica developed a solid foundation that crosses over into every discipline. As a young adult, Jessica trained in hunter/jumper with Coeli Netsky, the National Instructor of the Year in the United States.

Jessica wanted to be able to share her love and passion for horses with others, and her dedication to perfection creates truly well-trained horses that work in harmony with their riders. She prides herself on her ability to work with difficult and green horses, as well as for her extensive experience re-starting off-track Thoroughbreds. Jessica successfully competed for her equestrian team in college, and presently is preparing her young horse for a career in show-jumping.

In January of 2017, Jessica proudly became certified as an OHSA Judge.
